Crafted in Texas Since 1926
Nocona Belts started in a dusty North Texas workshop nearly a century ago, when a bootmaker named Enid Justin decided that working folks deserved leather goods that could outlast them. What began as a side project to her father’s boot company became something bigger — a legacy of American craftsmanship that’s been passed down through four generations of leather workers.
We still cut, tool, and stitch every belt by hand in our original Texas facility. The leather comes from American tanneries, the buckles from local foundries, and the designs from the same pattern books our founders used — plus a few new ones we’ve picked up along the way. Each belt takes about three hours to complete, from raw hide to finished product. It’s slow work, deliberate work, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
These days, you’ll find Nocona belts on ranch hands and CEOs, rodeo riders and weekend warriors. They’re the kind of belts that get better with age, developing a patina that tells your story — every scuff, every stretch, every day you’ve worn it. We don’t make disposable fashion. We make the belt you’ll wear for the next twenty years, then pass down to someone who matters.

Testimonials
“Been wearing the same Nocona for 8 years now. The leather’s gotten better with age, developed this perfect patina that you can’t fake. Worth every penny when a belt outlasts three pairs of boots.”
Jake M.
“Bought the tooled leather belt with the silver buckle for my husband’s 50th. He wears it to church, to the ranch, everywhere. The craftsmanship reminds me of the belts my grandfather used to make by hand.”
Maria S.
“Third generation rancher here. Nocona knows what working folks need – a belt that does its job without falling apart when things get tough. The brass hardware still looks good after plenty of dust and sweat.”
Robert W.
Common Questions
The best method is to measure a current belt from the fold where the buckle sits to the hole that’s most commonly used. Alternatively, add 2-3 inches to pant waist size for a comfortable fit. Belt sizes typically run in 2-inch increments.
Clean gently with a damp cloth when needed and apply leather conditioner every 3-4 months to prevent cracking. Store belts hanging straight or loosely coiled to avoid permanent creasing. Keep them away from direct heat and excessive moisture.
Standard shipping usually takes 5-7 business days within the continental United States. Expedited options are available for faster delivery. International orders may take 2-3 weeks depending on customs processing and destination.
Full-grain leather retains the complete surface layer of the hide, showing natural markings and developing a rich patina over time. Top-grain leather has been sanded and treated for a more uniform appearance. Full-grain is generally more durable and ages beautifully with regular wear.
Most orders can be exchanged within 30 days if unworn and in original condition. Check the return policy for specific details. Custom or personalized items may have different exchange terms. Contact customer service for assistance with sizing issues.
Yes, any leather repair shop or cobbler can add holes professionally for a small fee. For DIY, a leather punch tool works well – just measure carefully and punch from the finished side for the cleanest result. Space new holes about 1 inch apart for consistency.
